Braganza shared some of Alba’s training secrets in an interview with Women’s healthBraganza says she makes sure she’s flexible with Alba’s busy schedule and wants to spice things up. One of the things he does is change the times Alba trains. “Mixing evenings and mornings is a good idea for variety and also allows for proper recovery.”

Another thing Braganza does with Alba is mix up the workouts she does. “To keep the workouts interesting for Jess, I mix strength training exercises in a variety of ways,” Braganza said Women’s health. “Sometimes it’s the reps and other times it’s the timing.” Doing a variety of workouts has many benefits. Then I’ll use the Zico coconut water. Depending on whether or not I want a chocolate one or a plain one, I sometimes put some fruit in it. The kids love it I like to get them smoothies so I can add some protein. Chocolate, coconut, almond butter milkshake with banana butter!”

Alba makes sure she stays hydrated and says so Byrdie who is a big fan of coconut water. “I got into hot yoga and you sweat so much and you lose so much water, so you can get dehydrated. I love the health benefits that come with coconut water. I think the thing that makes Zico different from other coconut waters is it’s not from concentrate; there’s no added sugar. And it tastes like a kind of treat because it’s sweet. I don’t drink a lot of other types of drinks. I drink coffee, tea and coconut water, that’s all.

Alba is an avid cook and has shared some of her favorite recipes with her Byrdie. “My family likes it when I make Cornish game or chips, pasta and lasagne. The kids are pretty easy going; they like just about everything. I like to cook. In the summer we do a lot of barbecuing; in the winter, we roast. We always have roasted vegetables. I like to cook anything depending on the weather.”

Alba says Byrdie that she likes to train with others. “I really like taking group classes or I like working out with friends. I like high intensity workouts; I really like moving around. I don’t like a lot of repetitions. I like spin classes, depending on the teacher and the playlist . I like hot yoga classes, when done at a good pace. I prefer to mix it with light weights, so like a hot yoga class for sculpting. I’ll always work out with a friend because it’s more fun.”
